On the DH, wanders on the climbs. Steering is more vague but also a smoother ride

Interesting. How did you do that, you just bought a 29' fork and install it ? Isn't the frame position a bit "nose up" ?

I already have plenty of 29er parts so no cost to me LOL

The bike normally runs a 130mm fork, the 29er fork is 100mm and the height difference at the front end is minimal

Interesting for someone who mostly rides downhill and doesn't want to invest into an extra 29' bike...

it helps to have a few bikes so you can always experiment with one and ride the other!
