It reminds me of a spot on the Gilgit - Chitral road, but perhaps it's further north? North of Gilgit?
Anyway a beautiful photo and I feel like going back to Pakistan again!

Looks like a nice place. It looks like the mountains in this part are friendlier and are'nt as steep. By looking at it, from top to bottom, I would judge it to be 1-1.5 meters high (excluding how high you are already) ... am I close?
