Overview
Abgarm village is located about 60 km far from Mashhad city at north-east of Iran ."Abgarm" is a farsi (persian) word and it means "warm water" . This name was given to this village because there is a beautiful waterfall about 10 km far from the village which has warm water !
The height of waterfall is about 15 m.
The trail between Abgarm village and waterfall is suitable for easy mountain biking .
Trail Description
The 10 km trail passes through a narrow valley across the river . Some where you should pass through the river which its water is not cold !The slope of the trail is very low and biking is very easy .
Getting There
Abgarm village is located about 60 km far from Mashhad city at north-east of Iran .You can rent a mini bus and carry the team and their bikes from Mashhad to the village . There you can start biking from village to the waterfall in a 10 km trail .
When to Bike
Best season for biking there is spring , but fall and winter also have their beauties . Summer is warm and a little waterless .Report
In spring 2006 , we ( Oaj Mountain Climbing Club team ) put our bikes in a mini bus and went to the village , then we went to the waterfall with our bikes .One of our team member did an action job there !
He (Mojtaba) descend from waterfall using rope with his bike over his shoulder !!
I think no one has done such a thing yet !
