The Lake District, EnglandThe Lake District is my favourite place in England. It is green and beautiful with hundreds of peaks and as many lakes and tarns. Not many can be biked up legally but just to bike in this area is a pleasure. There are many old pack horse trails, drover's tracks and passes which can be ridden. These will take you by spectacular peaks and lakes. I just have to put some photos to give you a flavour of this little bit of paradise on our small island! Many of these are not taken while out on the mountain bike and are not legal MTB trails. I don't want to mislead you and I hope that this is OK?
