Coed y Brenin, Wales, UK

Coed y Brenin is the premiere mountain bike park in the UK. It was the first MTB Centre in the UK and was pioneered by Dafyd and Sian Davis both national level MTB racers with a heart for the sport. Coed y Brenin hosted MTB races way back in the late '80s before the courses were smoothed out for the roadies. It has grown massively in popularity and has numerous trails sponsored by the likes of MBR, Karrimor and Red Bull. There is now a brand new purpose built visitors' centre with shower facilities and cafe. I have to say that the trails have been tamed a bit over the past 5 years and levelled out for the masses. But this is a great place to ride with well designed flowing fun trails. I never grow tired of Coed y Brenin and it is situated in such a strategic place which allows easy access to Mid Wales trails and North Wales (Snowdonia).

Looking at some of your pics it makes me want to suggest to the crew I ride with to head your way instead of the usual trip out west. good stuff......

There is some top riding out here. But I get a bit tired of the rain and mud so that's why I head out west too!! Thanks for the comments and votes.
