India Feb 2008

I have had the privilege of going to India and have put together some "Bike Themed" photos. We went to South East India to the city of Chennai. What an amazing place. The smells, sounds and food of India are incredible. There is no way that I would brave the roads in Chennai though many do and it is the main mode of transport for many. The driving can be politely called mad! I did not see any real mountain bikes while there so I hope that you do not mind this post.

India is truly amazing. The people use bikes for alomost everything. Saw the same sights in Bangalore and New Delhi.

Were you in India biking or there for other reasons?? I'd absolutely LOVE to be able to travel to some foreign countries and do some bike touring!

our church has links with a village and I went to see the well and sewing school we financed. It was brilliant to see first hand where the money went and how it helped the villagers. More pictures are on my Flickr site if you're are interested.

It certainly would be cool to a bike tour there but definately off road!!! I've never done anything like that before.
