Early Season Snows Bow and Bend Boes in Wonder

Creamed with a variety of white slush and shin deep powder, we appear to be on track for another big winter. The first white crank wash of the year drew beads of sweat that dripped down my back in the face biting early morning chill. I followed someone else's track up the crux where they turned around. I continued on for another mile in footprints and powder. Here is some photos from today's tempting trail conditions. Others were out enjoying the freshies; lot's of dogs and owners, a couple of gold panners, a father and little tyke, and a porcupine very leery of my presence.
