this looks like a great winters day for a ride! The ancient bridge is a very nice piece of work too. Quite amazing!

There is endless exploring here, even on-road. One can imagine how these small villages were in older times - very much more tuned to their religions. The smallest church in England is in the region. I've been once, so due a summer trip for photos.

The region is known for its Cream Teas - that's ride a few miles, stop for tea, scones with cream and cakes, then on to the next one...
