Overview

Loveland & Ft. Collins, CO have a great network of trails ranging from smooth buff singletrack to steep, technical trails. With the addition of the Blue Sky Trail, three of the most popular trails (Devil's Backbone, Horsetooth Mountain Park and Coyote Ridge) are now interconnected creating opportunities for huge all day loops.

You can check out Larimer County's website for loads of information about trails, rules and regulations.

Getting There

Loveland, CO is located 40 miles north of Denver, CO on I-25 and slightly south of Ft. Collins, CO. Highway 34 is the major east/west roadway, and traveling west on 34 from I-25 will get you to the trails.

Red Tape

Conflicts between hikers and bikers had forced the closure of trails at Devil's Backbone, so please be courteous when riding these trails and yield to hikers and uphill riders.

Also, night riding is not allowed on several of these trails, so be sure to check the rules for each specific trail before heading out under the lights.
