Overview

Steep technical singletrack trails, long hill climbs, rolling sections, cliff sections, stream crossings, and access to the river and then lake make Salmons Falls one of the best and most rewarding places to go mountain biking in the gold country.

Getting There

Salmon Falls Mountain Biking area is located where Salmon Falls Road crosses the American River where it flows into Folsom Lake. Park on the south side of the bridge and ride across the bridge and make a left into the parking lot...the trail begins from here. There are other ways to access the trail network, but here is free parking.

Red Tape

No real red tape here, unless you can't ride across the bridge...and want to park in the pay lot by the trail head

Camping

No real oppoturnities for camping onsite
