Fruita & Grand Junction sit in the geographic shadow of the more famous Moab trails, but with a huge selection and wide variety of singletrack they are quickly emerging as a "go to" destination.

The area has several distinct areas which serve up everything from fast and flowing buff singletrack to technical, rocky downhill terrain. The areas offer something for just about everyone.

Getting There

Fruita is located about 250 miles west of Denver, CO directly off I-70. Drive time takes about 4 hours from Denver, but can be increased due to adverse weather conditions over the mountain passes you will travel across.

Areas to Explore

Fruita and Grand Junction offer several distinct riding areas including:

Kokopelli Area
- Travel west of Fruita on I-70 for 4 miles to the Loma exit, then head south before taking a right on the service road.

Bookcliff Area
- Exit on 18 Road exit off I-70 and travel till the road dead ends.

Rabbit Valley Area
- Travel west of Fruita for 17 miles, turn left across the overpass and left again to the parking lot.

Grand Junction Area
- Travel East from Fruita to the CO 340 Overpass, continue to the 2nd light (Monument Rd) and take a right. The parking lot is 2 miles ahead on the left.

Camping

Lots of camping areas exist including near the Bookcliffs on 18 Road, as well as two state parks and within the Colorado National Monument. Privately run campgrounds are also available in the area.
