Comstock Mine, Phelps Canyon.

This photo was taken overlooking the old Comstock Silver Mine in Phelps Canyon, above Park City, Utah. The Powerline trail passes up and down the canyon just to the west of this old abandoned mine area. Park City and much of the central Wasatch is rich in silver mining history.

Photo taken after climbing from Park City to the summits of Jupiter and Tri-County Peaks, solo style. It was fun to descend to this place and to a little exploring. August 27, 2011.
