The loop features rolling, flowy downhills with short, easy uphills; considering you take it in the standard direction. If you are in the mood for challenging climbs you can bike it in reverse but use caution as this is a heavily used trail and most people are looking for the downhill. More |

Ginals / Augstbord by Henk van den Akker The region of the Augstbord is great for mountainbiking. There are several signed routes. Many small and technical trails. The trail begins with a long climb. When you are almost on the top of the route the trail becomes a very small and rocky path. Here you have to carry your bike several times. Here you can practice your trialskills. Once you are on the Moosalp you can take many different roads down. When you are tired you can take the tarmac road and when you want some downhill action you can take several small trails down through the forest. More |

Kenney The Mount Lowe Railway is an old railbed winding from the town of Alta Dena up to the site of the Alpine Tavern in a canyon on the southern side of Mount Lowe. The Railway used to service Thaddeus Lowe's Alpine Tavern, a rustic mountain resort that was opened on December 14, 1895. Broumov Walls by Visentin The "Broumov Walls" is one of the major sandstone massifs in northern Bohemia that borders Poland, near the Table Mountains, and belongs to what Czechs call the Bohemian Sandstones. Imagine a small mountain covered with forests, and hosting countless bizarre-shaped and rounded sandstone outcrops. Not really a mountain-biking terrain, you might think first. Error ! More |

Mile trail # 2 by BeDrinkable 5 mile gulch is a gorgeous trail in the Boise front that climbs steadily from Rocky Canyon to the ridge road. As part of the interconnected ridge to rivers trail system, it is easy to ride this as an out-and-back or connect with other trails to create a loop. This is a moderate length trail, with a pretty nasty climb, so I often pair this with Orchard gulch to create a loop. It is also tempting to use this as part of a series of loops, at least later in the year when I'm in ok shape. More |
