Font's Point, although a bit sandy, is a fun ride up in the Anza-Borrego Desert SP.

Just happened to come across this one. But I sit in awe at this mindblowing scene. I just love the purity and simplicity of the desert. Fab.

The desert is a great place to be. Except when you're thirsty and without water...

I know a bit about that. Did a couple of long desert treks in the Middle East, and had just a couple of sips left, from the 5 litres I took. My head began to spin.

Though not a bad as my Pah during WWII in the North Africa campaign. He gave away his guitar for a cup of water, which he gave to a dying buddy of his. Then he drank rusty radiator water from an abandoned truck.

Us youngsters have barely had it tough.
