Honeycomb Cliffs summit.
This photo was taken from the summit of the Honeycomb Cliffs, which dominate views over both Alta and Brighton, Utah. A nice burly ride up from Grizzly Gulch from Alta made reaching this summit possible, though once reaching the pass the bike had to be shouldered to the summit about 500 vertical feet.

The area in upper Grizzly Gulch is rich with silver mining history. Mine dumps and old rusted boilers and bins dot the landscape up there everywhere. Though this might be unsightly to some, it offer's a pretty unique view of the area's history. Photo taken 9-23-2011.

Thanks Andy, been trying to hit all the high stuff up before that white stuff arrives here all too soon. This past winter featured some record snow-pack which lasted well into mid-summer this year. Been jamming to get up there and get those high runs in!
