Being kind of tired, I wasn't keen in a mountain ride (besides, colors are already over in mountain level), and this flat region was perfect. I picked the Qbikes with slick tires.
The number of pictures I took speak by itself... The Milicz lake district is just stunning in this season... I could also notice that touristic and biking infrastructures were a lot improved and much more inviting than five years ago.
You may notice the lakes were quite low after this year's weather that wasn't so rainy: As a result, lots of fishes and animals of all sorts were trapped in the remaining marshes, windfall for the hundred of bird species, which I could observe and - sometimes, with more or less luck - photography... these animals are bloody quick and often detect your presence before you grab the camera...
Including the birds I saw were countless Herons, almost as many Great Egrets (white heron-like bird with black feet), Grebes, Moorhens, Wild gooses and Seagulls of all sorts. Without counting those whose name I ignore...
A visit in winter is now needed !
