| This makes a good loop with "Tin Cup Ridge" (trail description coming soon. Not in good shape - no moisture at all this year. | |

| Started raining about halfway through Dakota Ridge, just before my chain broke... Trail was in pretty rough shape, which is to be expected for Dakota Ridge. Nut and I only saw 3 bikes and 4 hikers, though. I was surprised how rough Matthews/Winters was, pretty chopped up. | |
