Delamere Forest, Cheshire, EnglandThis weekend was a weekend away for a course of study I'm engaged in and taking place at a conference centre in Cheshire. The programme had a window of two hours free time so I threw the bike in the back of the car along with everything else and managed to get out on the Saturday for a reasonable ride. Nothing brilliant but on a bike will do me!! Delamere is a forest situated in Cheshire surrounded by lovely villages with names like Frodsham, Mouldsworth and Hatchmere. The forest itself is fun. There are lots of wide forest trails which attract families but there is a "bike skills area" placed in a corner of the woods. Here numerous kids congregated and dirt jump. It's brilliant watching them and having a go even at my ripe old age!!! There's also a short 4X track which is toptastic! You get a good ride here but nothing really challenging in the aerobic department. Images
