Stobrawski Natural ParkThe Stobrawski park is a huge forest area near the town I live. It extends from the East of Wroclaw (30km) to the city of Opole, on the north side of the river Odra.
It is densely wooded, mostly with pine trees, and the ground is of sandy texture. The area is pretty flat. One can observe without problem herds of deers, hares, birds and so on.
A good place to cycle at the begining of the season, when the ground is too muddy elsewhere (here a wet ground is rather an advantage considering the nature of the ground)
There are thousands of gridlines-shaped trails, but mostly unmarked. A GPS is not odd ! Few of them are marked but too few... Anyway the area deserves further explorations, we'll come back... and perhaps collect more information so I can turn this page into an "area" with several trails.
