Ok, here's the next installment in my series "Full Suspension Questions That Never Lead Anywhere." Anyone familiar with the Marin Mount Vision? Gets great reviews, but I've never spoken with anyone who's ridden one ... my only quibble would be that it's ugly as sin.

I have ridden a lower end version of this about 3 years ago and I have to say I was impressed. Rode a tech trail in Fruita on it. Handled very well except I ripped off the rear mech which somewhat curtailed my ride Crying or Very sad

I do agree they look ugly BD. The first editions had a very dodgey weld at the headtube/top tube junction. They appear to have changed that now.

Ah, thanks Andy! I was reading that for the more recent iteration, they've lightened it up a bit by taking some of the weight our of the rear triangle. I guess they figured since no one has EVER broken one, it must be too beefy. Of course, now they'll probably see a whole rash of returned triangles! Laughing

i sold marin for a while, amazing bikes! they are generally heavy for their class, but pedal amazing and easily the plushest most small-bump sensitive bikes i've ever ridden! durable, with great customer service if something does go wrong. underrated bikes!

In that case, I may have to trick someone into letting me ride one. Laughing
