This was spotted a couple months back on the Bonneville Shoreline trail (Draper Section) by a spy cam. Spooky to have such large natural company while riding up there.

Agreed ! But is it true that they only come out at night ???

Think so, haven't seen one all this time yet. Done a few night runs, ran into someones stray dog and several porcupines. Thankfully nothing over 100 lbs!

Ouch. Was out log hauling yesterday, carrying a big stack of logs in both arms downhill in the forest. The place was strewn with felled branches and the like. Went headlong downhill and heading for a faceplant into the logs I was carrying :(

Managed to throw 'em ahead, but landed smacked down both knees into a log slam. Lay there nullified :? for a few minutes wondering if I was going to have to phone for help.

Nah, and lose all that lovely lumber. Despite limping, I've a nice stack of winter logs now at my house :)

More crappy workmanship. Sister's car's coolant expansion tank popped while I was away. I would have fixed it if she'd waited. So I get to the garage and see the typical average garage work.

Car on the 4-arm lift, but front not on the jacking points - because access blocked by junk on the floor.

The removed parts were lain down on the gritty floor. And some of the plastics scratched.

When reassembled, various clips and fixings left undone.

Though I do credit them for noting oil was low, wash bottle low, abs light on (which I knew about) yet fair enough to tell me which sensor was faulty, enabling me to now fix it myself. And the cooling fan defect. And a darn fair price for the whole job.

It's only the work ethos that's wrong. After all, if the place is orderly, and neat with a modest effort, then the quality of work goes up.
