Strange, when I look at a trip report that uses pictures hosted on summitpost the medium and thumbnail directories do not work. But the large does as seen here:

I just get "SP is temporarily down for maintenance. It will be back up as soon as possible. Thanks!" Maybe the forum mods just wanted a holiday.

Well, if that was the case, they could have just shut down the forums. :wink: I've worked with phpbb3 before and know that you can do that with a touch of a button. :)

My Running site went down yesterday as well, but it's back now. That one's owned by a magazine. It's huge. Spam recently, like crazy.

As we saw here, Spam makes you put in some protections that are a PITA. I had a filter put on my office email. That was worse. It was virus loaded crap.
