Camelbak water pocket: advice needed

Considering buying a camelbak water pocket like this one. Both my rucksacks are designed to contain such.
So far the good old plastic cans were OK for bike excursions, but I find them less and less convenient during racing, and worse, that's the second one I lose during some downhill.
Are some brands better than others ? What should I make sure of before buying one ?

Hey Eric, I've been out of town and did not notice your topic. In my experience, the only real differences between these is in the bite valves (which can vary the amount of water theyt provide). Occasionally you will see one that has gel or something that can be cooled before-hand to keep the water cold. The one you have linked looks like a decent valve, but you can only tell so much from a picture. Let us know if it works out for you!

all i can say is i prefer the top load pockets over the camelback side load style, easier to fill

but they all work fine, and camelback is a top brand so go for it
