Trail Description

The ride starts off with about 5.5k of dirt road, the road for the most part is uphill. Once you reach the top of one of the big hills there a unofficial parking lot/trail head on the right. The trail is called Powderface creek trail. Head up the trail and climb and push your bike up to the top of the saddle.

The powderface ridge trail is on your right, heading south, head into the trees for some more climbing. Soon you will pop out on to the beginning of the exposed ridge.

Keep climbing up the sweet single track up to the top of the ridge.

Once at the top enjoy the awesome view of the Nihahi ridge to the west. When you are ready for some fast down hill look for the trail heading down on the east side of the ridge. Don't think that it is a straight shot back to the cars there is one more up hill. Once you are done climbing you will have a nice view of the elbow valley.

Now get ready for some brake fade! The trail goes straight down with lots and lots lose rocks, just hold on and try not to hit any trees.
