The Bike and the Cottonwood Ridge, from Peak 10,421.
Did a nice stiff climb up Mineral Fork, loaded with rocks and talus to this location seen in the photo, Peak 10,421 on the ridge dividing Mineral Fork from Blanche Fork. The rugged Cottonwood Ridge is in the background. Mt. Superior, is the summit above the seat, and the summit of Monte Cristo, 11,132 feet is above the handle bar. The Cardiac Ridge, which I traversed two days prior to this ride, it at the far left.

Video of the ride and ridge scramble that day:

The first time I went to any fair decent height (7,360ft Mexico City), I was shagged out playing a Badminton tournament. Though I've come to learn that altitude is the best performance enhancer. Once I'm in shape, I'll try and spend some quality time up high before my first comeback matches.

Altitude really does work well! I mainly use an excuse to get up higher right now due to the hot temperatures down in the valley... getting fairly close to 100 degrees right now.
