The Castillo at Caravaca de la Cruz | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Perched high above the town of Caravaca de le Cruz, the Castle has a fine defensive outer wall. The inner square centres a fine Spanish building in traditional style. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | rustybike | Good image for all those nostalgics ! | |
Voted 10/10 | I'm not sure, but I think that the iron horse depicted here isn't as noisy as those we have in town ! It's also nicer to contemplate !
In being a history buff, I make it a duty to visit every place with some historical appeal. The old world in having many more noteworthy sites must be a most fascinating area to discover !
Great picture ! | | Posted Feb 6, 2011 3:12 pm |

Hasn't voted | The horses represent those which were used for hauling wine. I myself came across a peasant's bodega with a huge 1,600 Litre barrel - somewhat the size of a car. So taken aback, I felt quite faint and lay down on the floor, in the vicinity of the tap. Some hours, or maybe days later, I awoke without a hangover. Hahaha! | | Posted Feb 6, 2011 4:21 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Shame on you !
If I would have been caught drinking so much wine I would have gotten a hangover from the remarks I'd get because of it ! LOL !
Interesting to note that my consumption of alcool dwindled so dramatically since I've called it quits working nights that I can now proudly proclaim that I'm almost a sane man ! I vividly remember the most deploreable lifestyle I had drinking 2 or so litres of coffee on the night shift which in keeping me very awake after I arrived home obliged me to take in 2 gigantic bottles of beer to assure that I'd fall asleep thus assuring that I was functional for the next night shift...
Some compared the developing symptoms which occured because of it to an acute pathological condition . I called it industrial disease... | | Posted Feb 7, 2011 10:53 am |

Far better to have one or two short coffees made from fresh ground beans and savour it.
The same for wine.
They say, good things come in small quantities - at the moment that's cash and women. I'm broke in both - Hahaha !! | | Posted Feb 13, 2011 6:36 am |

Voted 10/10 | Apart from that, an excess of it must not only make anyone neurotic but must also contribute towards the very gradual and selective destruction of the brain !... Although like was the case for tobacco, it will take more than a century to advance formal proof of it...(it was known since the 19th century that tobacco chewers would get cancer...)
Regarding your remarks on fresh ground coffee; apart from the enhanced flavour, the brew seems to leave me more refreshed. In that regard I had once did a simple comparaison between the freshly ground brew and what was already ground which was kept in the freezer which was in contact with air...One left me dull and neurotic while the other was refreshing...
With regards to an inherent reality of this world; depravation fuels hunger. Don't end up looking like some famished beast !... Although the wise tend to give themselves the proper priorities which are personally and socially more beneficial. I for one am avidly expecting the arrival of spring to go out on my quest for rocks and minerals in the northern hills ! Although I'd definitely look wiser if I'd get proper accreditation thus giving me a more formal social purpose to undertake such activities which would coincidentally most probably also give me income once the task is formally sanctioned...
Seek the company of positive folks to keep yourself active ..and alive ! Don't end up looking like some stone age relic , battered and bruised by those with dubious pretentions ! | | Posted Feb 16, 2011 10:28 am |
