The Dark Side! | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
OOOOh. Borrowed a mates road bike. I am considering going to the "dark side". Is this just the Wiggo Factor or will I enjoy road riding? Have to say this thing goes on the tarmac unlike my mtbs. Maybe this is what I need to fire me up again!!! Comments[ Post a Comment ] | AnimalFromSpace | Roadie | |
Voted 10/10 | Yup.
When I got a roadie, my mtb friends stopped answering my emails. The good nooz is, roadies are more accepting of running, mtb, and CX. | | Posted Aug 22, 2012 12:37 pm |

Voted 10/10 | You can't beat a good turn of speed on a road bike. Tyres pumped wood hard, a smooth piece of tarmac, the wind behind you. 40mph. | | Posted Aug 22, 2012 4:04 pm |

Hasn't voted | Oh no Eric!!! Way too old for that and hate running!
Just need to get out quick from the front door. Still undecided as to whether to get one. Will I use it enough? Will I really enjoy road riding? Maybe I just need new trails and some dry weather!!! | | Posted Aug 22, 2012 5:24 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Spinning on the mtn bike makes for some of the best roadies in the business. Cadel made the switch, Landis got his break after busting the dirt too.
One thing about the British Isles are the quaint and little country roads that wind their way through the hills like black veins across the lands. It's a great break from the nobbies and mud that speckles our faces. Sleek aluminum fenders shave off the water that normally soaks the balls and buttocks to keep us pursuing the next tantalizing ascent that cars find so easily accessible. I love working hard in front of car and driver. Makes me feel like I am the one with the bigger engine!!
Trust me. A bikes a bike and you are a pure cyclist. I just know you'll love it! | | Posted Aug 23, 2012 3:40 am |

Voted 10/10 | If you want to stick a toe in the water, before jumping in the pool, get a Track Bike. Cheap, drop handlebars and 23mm. | | Posted Aug 22, 2012 8:04 pm |

Voted 10/10 | I love my CX,the speed is fun. Sure makes getting to work easy. I would not call it the darkside just the other side. | | Posted Aug 22, 2012 10:38 pm |
