The sky's Demon! | [ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
The sky is a demon, with long furry ears, a giant ice-colored lips and two evil yellow eyes on the wings.
It's not my imagination that gallops, but hailstones as big as a golf ball that this black beast dumped me on the head.

Voted 10/10 | Hail stones on the head are painful, sometimes injurious. I experienced them once - about 3cm. | | Posted Jul 25, 2012 3:29 pm |

Hasn't voted | I think, one of the few thinghs, created by the nature, totally unnecessary.
Ciao Ray and thank you very much for the visit.

Voted 10/10 | Yowtch. I saw a serious hailstorm in Denver a few years back - they get some amazing storms rolling off the plains - that killed several squirrels with hailstones to the head. | | Posted Aug 1, 2012 9:52 am |

Hasn't voted | Here in Piedmont, after every damn hailstorm, I find the chicks on the ground dead, magpies, blackbirds, etc.. etc. I once, witnessed, a heartbreaking scene; mother stork which threw out of the nest hailstones and tried to resuscitate the chick. Nature is very implacable at times!
Cheers.
