The Trails--Under Construction--
The Trail of Tears consists of about 16 miles of singletrack. The trails are steep and twisty. All together, they are not very technical. Riders should be cautious of Poison Ivy and deer ticks. Dukes Country (Marthas Vineyard) has the highest Lyme Disease infection rate in the country, and Barnstable Country is not far behind. For information on Lyme Disease, visit the Mass Board of Health's Tickborne Disease website.
