Overview Shock Treatment is a twisty, rough singletrack trail at Hartland Bike Park. It is accessed from the Regional Trail. It is rated a blue square, intermediate. There are no rock obstacles over 6 inches high. Elevation gain and loss is minimal. The trail can be ridden in either direction. Trail Description South trailhead: Enter the trail about 0.8km South along the Regional Trail. The trail is on your left. The trail will take you to the North Trailhead, by the technical terrain area.
North Trailhead Follow the main trail in from the Hartland Road Parking lot, about 50m. past the technical training area. On your left are two entrances to Shock Treatment. Take the first one you encounter (I belive the other is for the downhill direction). Follow the singletrack trail until its conclusion about 800m. later.
Shock Treatment follows some tight and rough single track with a few rolling hills for about 800m. Watch for loose rock. There are a few bedrock obstacles and short, moderate climbs. There are no rock obstacles over about 6 inches.Getting There From the Hartland Road parking area, cross the street and enter the park at the sign.
