Overview

Teller Lake is a non-technical trail that goes through rolling hills on the east side of Boulder. While not the preferred destination for those seeking rocky adventures, it does provide a great cyclocross or singlespeed ride especially in the winter months when the higher trails are snowed in.

Trail Description

The trail is smooth single and double track trails that flows through open fields and rolling hills. The trail crosses several roads, but the crossings are easy to find.

The trail won't satisfy those looking for epic adventures, but serves its purpose as a recovery ride or night ride.

Getting There

From Boulder, travel east on Arapahoe Blvd traveling past 75th St. On your left (north), you'll see signs for Teller Lake Open Space. Take the left turn onto a dirt road, which will take you to the parking area.

You can also start on the north end

When to Bike

All season biking, but better spring/summer/fall options make this trail more popular in the winter.
