Overview

The trail begins to the east (left) of the lake.
The Forest Lake Trail connects Forest Lake to the Ridge Trail. It's very steep and relatively short.

The Ridge Trail above the lake has a couple interesting spots - a scree field to cross and a good 2' drop over a root system. The view looking down this steep mountainside is unforgettable.

The trail begins to the east of the lake and climbs. It's closed to ATV's but you'll find that some go around the fence and try it anyway.
