Overview

Kowen Forest is a large pine forest with km's of firetrials with single track in between.

Home of the 24hr race before it moved to Stromlo.

Trail Description

Fast and open semi-technical singletrack.

Plenty of firetrail surrounded by pine forest.

Lots of hills to climb as well.

Getting There

Travel to the junction of Pialligo Av.& Sutton Rd. just outside Queanbeyan. Head approx. 2 kms North from this junction towards Goulburn & then turn right into Kowen Rd. ( gravel -Molonglo Gorge access).

At the next junction, travel straight ahead into a small carpark. From here you will need to ride onto the bitumen on Kowen Rd. (through the large metal gates) & then travel approx 5 kms on the main road to the Subaru Rally area.

When to Bike

You can bike all year round.
