Overview

Skipper is a short trail with a climb that goes from the Buck Gulch TH and connects with Buck Gulch, (which makes a killer descent to PVROSP), Strawberry Jack (the other leg that goes to PVROSP), Homestead Trail (my 2nd favorite trail in Buffalo Creek), and Charlie's Cutoff, which is a fun alternate loop.

Trail Description

More singletrack, this is a fine, fast fun trail. On occasion, turns into old doubletrack with big whoop-dee-doos on it.

Getting There

See map. I usually don't ride this trail by itself, instead getting to it from several other trails (I usually start at PVROSP).

When to Bike

Same about mid-day temps. Mid-April to mid-November, weather dependent. Unlikely you will see anyone on this trail, either. Too many miles, too few riders.
