Overview

This trail is indeed a cutoff; you can take it instead of taking Miller Gulch. It provides access to a fine section of Homestead Trail. Miller Gulch is fun, because it is fast and has a lot of HUGE sloping waterbars (30' jumps, anyone?), but the Cutoff is quick, a fast descent, has some nice twisties, and puts you on one of the area's best trails - Homestead.

Trail Description

Exclusively singletrack on decomposed PPG. Fast! Some tight turns, but a fun descent (going west to east). Not too bad as a climb (east to west), but better to take it east.

Getting There

Access off of Miller Gulch/Strawberry Jack or from Homestead. I recommend MG/S access heading east, pick up Homestead, take that to Sandy Wash. Awesome.

When to Bike

Same as seasonal heading under main area.
