Overview

This trail is my second favorite, and fortunately, it meets up with my favorite in the area, Sandy Wash. It has a bit of climbing, then some monster fun downhill through one of the more lush areas of Buffalo Creek. Then it gets into Sandy Wash trail, which is even more fun. I enjoy this trail from west to east, although it is rideable from east to west as well.

Trail Description

Singletrack merges in and out with OLD (closed) doubletrack. There are a few big whoop-de-doos that you can really scream off. Mostly dirt with some occasional spots of loose PPG.

Getting There

This is a "landlocked" trail, meaning the only way to get to it is to ride from other trails. You could start at Buck Gulch TH and then take Skipper over to it. We usually start at PVROSP and ride up Strawberry Jack to Homestead (or Charlie's Cut-off), down Sandy Wash, up 543 to Morrison Creek to the CT, CT to Green Mountain, down 543 to Baldy, up Baldy to Miller Gulch, then downhill back to Buck Gulch to the TH on the south.

When to Bike

Same seasonal info as the main area.
