Overview

From DougCo:

Spruce Mountain is a large, tree-covered mesa that is visible from Interstate I-25, Spruce Mountain Road, County Line Road, and Highway 105. The property contains scrub oak, ponderosa pine forest, wet meadows, and rocky cliffs.

This is a nice, easy, really enjoyable trail. There are almost no technical treats, but it is still a nice ride.

Trail Description

Non-technical, sandy & dirt singletrack, some doubletrack from the old fire and access roads.

Getting There

I-25 south to Greenland exit, head west onto Noe Road, head south on Spruce Road. There are 2 THs - one on the east side, one on the south side.

When to Bike

Trail dries out quickly and holds little snow, but expect snow from December-February, depending on snowfall.
