Overview

From DougCo:

Spruce Meadows Trail winds through grassy meadows between Greenland Open Space and Spruce Mountain. The trail has been cut through undulating fields of grasses and wildflowers. Enjoy views of surrounding buttes, Pikes Peak, Spruce Mountain and the Rampart Range, as well as Carpenter Creek and thousands of acres of protected open space. The trail crosses over (or under) Spruce Mountain Road twice at marked crossings, and crosses over Noe Road twice before looping back to the parking area.

Trail Description

From DougCo:

Trail Rating: This is an easy trail for minimal elevation gain, but present grassy surface and 8.5 mile length will put in the moderate zone.

Trail Surface: Grass/natural. (Meaning dirt and sandy dirt).

Getting There

From DougCo:

From I-25, take the Greenland Exit (167) to the west and travel ¼ mile west and ½ mile south. Bypass the Greenland Open Space Trailhead and continue right on the main gravel road (Noe Road) over two sets of railroad tracks. The parking area is just up a short hill on your left, on the south side of the road.

When to Bike

Trail holds snow from December-February.
