Overview

This trail is a COMPLETE. This trail is a new cut-off from the CT to Gashouse Gulch, eliminating the need to ride the road from one trail to the other. AWESOME. This will provide a sweet connection from Redskin to Gashouse. It avoids the Gashouse TH, but you can ride from there to connect to the trail.

Trail Description

BRAND NEW Spankin' singletrack, avoiding the fire roads. This trail will connect with the west end of the CT to the west end of Gashouse Gulch, making for a sweet ride.

Getting There

The Redskin Creek trail is finished and open for riding. This new trail connects the CT with the Gashouse Gulch trailhead eliminating the need to ride on roads (543 and 550). So as you ride west on the CT and go through Meadows Campground, continue west on the CT, crossing over 543 Road, for about a mile. Redskin Ck. trail will take off on the right and descend down to 550 Road. Cross over the road, continue on the singletrack and climb up to the Gashouse trailhead.

If you park at the Gashouse Gulch TH, you can ride Gashouse uphill to connect to Redskin, then bike back SW to the Colorado Trail. If you did this, I'd recommend riding the CT back to Shinglemill, then back to 543 to Baldy or Sandy Wash, making a loop starting and finishing at Gashouse TH.

When to Bike

Same seasonal info as main section. This section isn't complete, so bikin' won't be ready until we all pitch in and help finish the trail.
