Overview

An easy, although fun open space trail. Can connect with Spruce Meadows trail and the Colorado Front Range Trail.

Amenities: Group picnic shelter with covered hitch rails, horse trailer parking, water spigot, hitch rails, restroom, kiosk, and benches.

Trail Description

Crusher fines and dirt singletrack. No tech treats here.

No shade nor shelter exist along trail - it is all in open meadow.

Getting There

From DougCO:


South of Larkspur four miles and north of Palmer Lake in the Greenland Open Space. Take I-25 Exit 167, west ¼ mile and south ½ mile to Greenland trailhead. Accessible also from New Santa Fe Trail trailhead in Palmer Lake.

When to Bike

Seasonal temps apply. Dec-Feb may be unbikeable due to snowpack.
