OverviewThe Sylvan Meadows Trails is one of few trails open to mountain bikers at the Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve. This trail composes of a nice loop that offers great mountain biking. The ride will take you through some of the most beautiful and pristine Southern California landscape.
One downside is that you have to share the area with horses, hiker, and runners. However, if your out riding early enough, you can avoid all of these things. Bring lots of water!Trail DescriptionStart at the trailhead and choose a direction. The ride is really straightforward, so that is nice. Follow the signs. There are only little portions of uphill, be these are barely noticable. Also, there are a few places along this trail where you could jump and do some tricks. Also, around the parking area, there is a little one mile trail called "Nighthawk Loop" (built by the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks). This makes a nice little addition. If you add on this loop, its about 4.5 miles long.

Its located just past the start on the left side of the trail. Its about 200 ft of fence that goes up and over a hill. Images |
