I guess that some folks must do such backbreaking work to improve their physical endurance without mention of the fact that the symbolic rewards are worth the effort at least to be a part of the crowd if not to prove that you can face up to the challenge ! ...

No need to mention that I the soybean lazythin couch potato prefers going up on foot !

Always admired this racing pic. How did that girl fare with you guys? I always like to beat them tuffies out there. When I first started riding roadies, they were the ones I would compete against. Now I look to knock off a few of the bigger named guys around here or else they look to continue to knock me around a bit more.

	Hasn't voted	It is Bogus indeed. To be honest, I have no idea where she finished. There are usually about 300 or so in this race and they try to schedule it so that all the heavy hitters are available. Before she retired Kristin Armstrong (Olypic Gold Medalist) would often ride in this race. So my goal is always to finish in the top third and try to beat my previous year's time. It's a heckuva a race!
