Voted 10/10 | Or was this a supermarket grab ! Either way, a great heist !
Gees, must get me a good dawg and train it to fetch like that ! | | Posted Feb 4, 2011 12:54 pm |

Voted 10/10 | If it was a heist , the idiot with the fish might be tempted to complain about it !... LOL!
Good image ! I do understand that catching the guy in the act leads to blurry footage ! | | Posted Feb 4, 2011 4:49 pm |

Voted 10/10 | People are often wondering why my car photos are blurred. Hmm ! | | Posted Feb 4, 2011 5:02 pm |
 | | rustybike | Re: Fresh-caught fish? | |
Voted 10/10 | That's because you have camera shake trying to drive while taking a picture at the same time ! I suggest that you get your hands off the steering to take that once in a lifetime image despite the risk of an accident which shouldn't scare you too much with all the insurance coverage in existence which in the worst case creats road crash millionaires !
oupps, I think I shouldn't have mentioned this...
I just realised that maybe you're taking images of cars instead of from cars... If such is the case ,just increase you shutter speed !
As for my sorry state of existence ,I take my best images from my bike just before a crash !
Thank god the good people here compliment me for such images ! | | Posted Feb 4, 2011 6:19 pm |

Hasn't voted | Have you seen Mondo's cars? To own one of those is way better then crashing it for a good picture. Screw the picture and pump on the gas pedal, baby!!! WEEEEEEhoooooooo!! Oh, the trill of the road: whether on two wheels or four cruising is just about as good as it gets. Documentation is optional, whereas enjoying the commute should be mandatory as we only go around once. There is no sorry state existence when there's traveling to be had. You guys are great!!! I love hanging out here with everyone!! | | Posted Feb 5, 2011 1:10 am |

Voted 10/10 | I meant the blurred images in speed cameras. Lol. And for those who reach 140mph, they don't function. You are out of the trap before it can trigger. Must head down to the store and get me some fresh fish. Hahaha. | | Posted Feb 5, 2011 4:20 am |

Voted 10/10 | That means you have to predict ahead of time ! Despite the near impossibility of such a task you can try your luck with a timer once you suspect a good picture taking opportunity will arise !...You have to anticipate things ! That means that once you kinda suspect something worthwhile about the scenery rapidly cascading by , you take out your camera and prepare yourself ! Better still, take multiple frames of the same image in rapid sequence ! (there is a camera feature permitting this...) I'm certain that one of the images risks not being as blurry as the others ! LOL ! If worst comes to worst, there is some specialised software in existence which adds up a bunch of blurry images to make a nice sharp image combining all the blurry images of microbes on the slide..Oupps ... The software corrects the view of microbes once viewed from a microscope...And if you dared ask , or complain about it ; So what ! The software wouldn't know the difference between a blurry fish and a blurry microbe ! LOL ! | | Posted Feb 6, 2011 2:25 pm |

Voted 10/10 | That's what I have the intention of doing this summer, except that I can't purchase a car since , apart from the lack of funds ,I have way too much vertigo. But I can try my luck with a scooter. That way I can engage in my passion (which are mineralogical expeditions notwithstanding the discovery of overlooked sites of interest including mountainous scenery-check my WEB site) . With a scooter I wouldn't be spending a fortune doing 30 miles or so a day with my dirt bike and filling up on so much food and drink that I look like some type of drunken slob which doesn't even drink alcool but certainly ends up acting like one overfilled with useless water and calories and leaking like some old row boat which, to be honest, make me look like some lost couch potato an escapee of the urban core ! I'd just spend on the gas and buy a can of soup of so while travelling 200 miles ! I thus would actually TRIM DOWN ! LOL ! And if I really want to go beyond the beaten track, all I need is a small extra gas tank !
And if you folks would dare ask ; Yes ! I would be leaving the mountain biking community to instead travel on a cheap scooter to some places where nobody has set their pedals towards ! | | Posted Feb 6, 2011 2:42 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Always a good way to cover extra miles and carry more propecting tools. Anyways, scootering Trip Reports will be most welcome. | | Posted Feb 6, 2011 4:30 pm |

Voted 10/10 | Ray , thanks for the encouragement !
Although, I'll have to dwell on the subject matter instead of dwelling on everything else ! LOL ! Like has been typically the case over the course of years if not decades some people have complained about my presence on the NET ... Even if I do stick to the subject matter, they again complain... Maybe it's the gravy train syndrome whereby people in expecting to make it on the gravy train with the material of others complain about it...(Sounds kind of weird with further consideration for what I consider as lackluster performance ... I'm mostly of the opinion that I tend to be off subject for the audience...Although, you never know...)
Coincidentally, I was wondering if I can use a gas powered generator with the electrical bike once riding it in the woods, or if I can only charge the scooter with it without riding it... I'm currently seeking government assistance for my geological forays. I'll have to go down to Quebec city to enquire more about the 4000 $ federal government financial package that is for prospectors with a tangible project in mind which for myself woould be the closer investigation of known fault lines such as the one that seems to be a continuation of the fault line associated with the deposit in Urban township Quebec which is being investigated by Noront... My magnetic anomaly maps tend to indicate that the asscoiated mineralisation is to associate with a residual fault running in an east-west manner for what potentially can be hundreds of miles...
And if you wonder why I can't purchase a cheap $300 car ; I suffer from vertigo attacks in high places and tight corners . I'll never be able to get a car as a result... | | Posted Feb 27, 2011 2:02 pm |
| RayMondo | Gas-powered generator | |
Voted 10/10 | Sure it would work, though I have no knowledge of what is available. The veritable Web search will quickly reveal something.
I like the sound of the prospecting, especially if given a grant. What with all the ex-pats leaving Libya, one could nip over and stake a claim! Though there's nothing better than a lucky strike and the glint of GOLD ! | | Posted Feb 27, 2011 3:38 pm |
 | | rustybike | Re: Gas-powered generator | |
Voted 10/10 | Well, at least with something of such an order I would have better autonomy than on bike at a cheaper cost (it costs me a fortune to feed myself while mostly staying idle !) . Furthermore I'd have an electrical generator for the computer (and all other essentials) without mention the added autonomy for the bike on limted gas use even if the electrical bikes go much slower... Mind you , I wouldn't be pushed to exhaustion and thus would have time to undertake the activities which count namely more in depth investigation of a specific area in relative proximity to a roadway...
I also had another project in mind in the eastern townships which despite mostly being associated with asbestos in the past was the lair of countless outcrops and some noteworthy deposits namely for nickel, chromium, platinum and mosty noteably copper..and gold (if you refer to the placer deposits on the upper Chaudiere river whose source lode was never found...). Such a project obviously would be closer to civilisation. (check my WEB site -the link is in my profile- for a magnetic anomaly map in the environmental issues section...)
If ever I uncover something , hopefully I'll live to tell the tale ! Mind you, notweworthy discoveries are the object of much attention most often without generating the sense of urgency experienced during the initial Iraq confict whereby all television programming was interrupted one morning on CBS in late 1990 (or early 1991) to present us what looked like a lone shack out in the mountains ! LOL !
To terminate :
If ever some from the obscure depths of society dare complain about my presence on this site, I'm currently replying to a message posted by someone else ! LOL !
As demanded , I'll keep you folks informed on my most current forays into the wilderness...
