	Hasn't voted	Ha ha ..., No! The autobahn was very crowd because of many trips in New Year vacations. The police did not allow us to passed there and told that bikers should passed through the old road of Qom-Tehran.Unfortunately, that road has not good condition (asphalt) and just heavy trucks passed there!

When I was approaching the border areas with Afghanistan a police patrol told me how dangerous the areas were. According to them there was a constant battle between the Iranian government and drug runners from the other side of the border. Therefore they gave me two choices. They would give me a ride out of the dangerous area or they would escort me. I went for the latter option and the last two days in Iran a police car followed me at all times. The police officers paid for all my food and snacks in the shops. They wouldn't let me pay anytime I shopped! It was a weird experience and I was really amazed by the patience of the guys in the car, following me at a speed of 20-25km/h.

	Hasn't voted	Hi corax. I live in Khorasan province (at the North East of Iran) that has border with Afghanistan. I think you'he passed through this province. All you told are familliar for me. If anyone talk with the tourists who have been in Iran, he'll hear much about the hospitality of iranians. They used to do every thing that could for their guests especially for foreigners. 	Hasn't voted	That is a great story. How kind people can be. When crossing France, I once was hailed down by a car. 2km up the road, this Dutch guy had brewed me coffee! okay, so this qualifies for Bike Carriers Album. Police indeed!
