Crashing hard after a wheel failure

Not sure if this will work but here is an accidental video I shot of a descent that resulted in a front wheel failure then subsequent crash on my 29er.Particulars
Ride: Chiva Falls, Tucson, ArizonaBike: Salsa El Mariachi, with Salsa Rigid fork
offending wheel - Salsa Delgado Race 32h on Hope proII hubs - DT Comp spokes
Scene: Saturday morning at around 8:30am, 10 minutes into a long ride, on the first downhill.
Result: 4 stitches in my arm, severe bruising in my forearm and elbow and whiplash symptoms in the neck and shoulders. Wheel was destroyed. Bike is fine otherwise
