Overview

Z-Line trail

Note: I will be adding photos to all Brian Head related pages in spring 2008 when the mountain biking park re-opens.

Z-Line is a downhill trail located at Brian Head Mountain Bike Park. This trail switchbacks from the top of the mountain heading down, intersects with the Timberline trail, and ends at the bottom of the hill where the chairlift is ready to return you to the top.

Trail Description

The following information is courtesy of Brian Head Resort. Posted with permission.

Z-Line
Intermediate to Advanced – 3 Miles

Starting right off the top of the chairlift this trail lives up to its name. Zig zagging, back and forth down the face of the mountain through the treed sections of the ski runs, you will eventually connect with the lower Timberline trail, bringing you back to the Mountain Bike Park.

Here is a map of the route. Free maps are also available on-site.

Getting There

At the top of the chairlift head downhill then cut north.

When to Bike

Spring through Fall. Summer and fall are best. Spring can be a great time if it isn't too wet. Summer thunderstorms are common and temperatures can be cool even in July and August.
